Silicon Carbide Sintering Furnace Meets the Requirements of Different Products and Processes!

The Silicon carbide sintering furnace utilizes electromagnetic induction heating, offering high thermal efficiency and a long service life for the heating elements. In conventional graphite rod resistance heating furnaces, the limited operating temperature of electrode insulation materials results in a short lifespan, with some requiring replacement after just a few batches. Excessive temperatures also cause rapid degradation of the graphite rods. Additionally, issues like poor contact, arcing, or excessive contact resistance can easily lead to burnout.

Capable of maintaining a long-term stable high temperature of 2300°C, it is compatible with silicon carbide powder, sintering of silicon carbide sealing ceramics, pressureless sintering of silicon carbide, as well as metal powders and composite metal powders like titanium carbide and vanadium carbide, available in various particle sizes.

The Silicon carbide sintering furnace features excellent body sealing with a fully enclosed structure. Its vacuum pumping system and protective gas circulation system allow operation under high vacuum or protective atmospheres, meeting the requirements of different products and processes.

A special infrared cooling and filtration system effectively protects the vacuum system.

the furnace incorporates a rapid cooling structure, significantly shortening the production cycle. The internal insulation layer is equipped with an inner door opening system and an external cooling gas circulation system, reducing the furnace cooling time by more than half.

It employs specialized infrared temperature measurement technology and PID segmented program control for the heating curve, ensuring accurate temperature control with minimal error.

The control software is integrated into the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for switching operations, alarm display and logging, temperature curve programming, display, recording, and data export. It is aesthetically pleasing, convenient, and practical.

The sintering furnace is a batch-type induction heating furnace primarily used for producing various metal powders such as tungsten carbide powder, titanium carbide powder, vanadium carbide powder, etc., and composite metal powders in the powder metallurgy industry. It is also known for processing silicon carbide (carborundum). Silicon carbide is produced by smelting raw materials like quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), and wood chips (salt is required for producing green silicon carbide) at high temperatures in a resistance furnace. In nature, silicon carbide is also a rare mineral.

Dehydrogenation Treatment in Silicon carbide sintering Furnace: For some metals, such as zinc, during the electrodeposition process, apart from the metal itself, a portion of hydrogen is also released. This hydrogen can permeate into the coating, making the plated parts brittle or even causing fractures—a phenomenon known as hydrogen embrittlement. To eliminate hydrogen embrittlement, plated parts are often subjected to heat treatment at a certain temperature for several hours after electroplating. This heat treatment is referred to as dehydrogenation treatment.
